Signposts Along The Way: The Epilogue

17 Oct

Looking back now, it was truly outstanding to consider for three years that all of these “Signposts” along the way led to this new vista of healing. Especially Signpost 6 (Part 1 of 5)The Stone Wall Prayer, or dad as a  human cross on Holy Thursday in Signpost 6 (Part 3 of 5) I HAVE To Go Church!, or the missionary in Signpost 6 (Part 4 of 5) He’s Alive!, or the Easter Sunday miracle of forgiveness in Signpost 6 (Part 5 of 5) Forgave and Forgotten!. All of these events led up to attending the Charismatic Healing Service with dad, beginning with Signpost 9 (Part 1 of 4) The Event.

Yet before these Signposts led me here,  my search started with the children at the St. Michael’s home. In the introduction to Signposts Along The Way, How It All Began, I share how my unbelievable journey began.

After witnessing the miracles that surrounded the kids at the St. Michaels home, I searched for more answers. I knew there was a missing part. I knew that Jesus needed to be revealed.  My head knew yet my heart needed to be activated.

After learning that Jesus died for me personally and rose again, the connection was made. The Good News moved into its new place, my heart, to live forever with me.  I came to realize that the Word of God and Jesus are One.

The Word of God contained all my answers, every one of them. Realization came as His Word became truth to me. The Bible, God’s Word, taught me “God is Love. Love is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Love never changes and always looks for ways to bless. Love is the greatest Giver of all. That’s God. God is Love!

His Gift of new life which I received is free, but was not without a great price. The good news is that the price has already been paid. Jesus gave his life for ours.  A divine exchange. The greatest secret ever known, Jesus, forgives all sins – past, present and future. We are made brand new.

Jesus’ Gift removes the darkness from our eyes, the burdens off our shoulders, the sadness within our hearts and the fear in our minds.  He fills us with light, joy, faith, hope and love. I could never could have imagined such splendor or joy.

I invited Jesus into my heart.  I believed in my heart and I said with my mouth that Jesus Christ died and arose from the dead. I called upon His Name and was saved. He gave me His free Gift of new life. I’ve enjoyed this new life and witnessed His divine power for over thirty years. It was manifested through the stories in the  Signposts Along The Way

Now, I invite you to have the same free Gift of Jesus.  If you have never invited Jesus into your heart, you may do it right now by saying:

Heavenly Father, I come to you in the Name of Jesus.

Your Word says “Whosoever shall call on the Name of the Lord Jesus shall be saved” and “if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved” (Acts 2:21, Romans 10: 9-10) .  I  take You at your Word, “With my mouth I confess that Jesus is Lord and I believe in my heart that you raised Him from the dead.”  Thank  you for coming into my heart, for being Lord over my life.

I promise you, all you need to do is simply believe. Then the Giver of Life, the Gift of Love, Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God will fill your hungry heart too!
